BetfredZut gets Betfred Ready to Rumble

After working with Bedfred for a number of years, this year we wanted to go bigger and better than ever before, with an exciting creative concept featuring a brand ambassador that gave the campaign real gravitas.

After considering a number of personalities, when the team hit on Michael Buffer, we immediately knew it felt right.

Betfred is passionate about sport and these ads are all about celebrating fan passion and the euphoria that big game moments create.  When we pitched the concept to Betfred earlier in the year, thankfully they loved it as much as we did.

Jo Whittaker, CEO at Betfred has described the campaign as their best advert to date and has praised the team at Zut who put it together:

“From the fist time I saw the advert is was ‘wow’! 

“The music is fantastic and will resonate with the audience. Michael Buffer on top of that with the ‘Let’s get ready to rumble’, and then our sponsorship and highlighting the best of what we do, was just brilliant.

“The team around it have put their heart and soul into the production, the detail, the planning and the strategy, ensuring that it is rolled out and represented in all of our digital media and across the shops. 

“I’m really proud that this is the best advert that BetFred’s ever done.”

Michael flew over from states for a two day shoot in a massive blue screen environment in Manchester, which allowed us to recreate a football stadium around him and a boxing ring with thousands of fans.

We then went on to film fans from a range of sports, including football, rugby and snooker.

A lot of thought, time and energy went into the creative treatment to make sure the adverts really jump out on screen to potential Betfred customers and we’re really happy with the end result.
